Archviz Tools created a free and very useful tool to easily create fire/smoke in your scenes.
The interface allow to select between different animations of fire / smoke all with alpha, and the system will create a plane with the correct aspect ratio. As easy as plug an play and very fast to render, ideal for mid to BG renders. Download it here
