Today I am the 3dsMaxGuru. On this series of tutorials we will see how to create a Donut in 3ds Max in a procedural way. We will be able to switch the base model, and automatically we will get base donut with colors, with chocolate coverage and sprinkles. We will render it finally with Arnold, seeing some basic materials, and a basics for Fluids in 3dsmax. On this first video we will create the base of the donut, how to save softselections as map channel using Datachannels. How to use this map channel and manipulate it using OSL, using volume select and distort the base donut mesh. The final 3d file its available to download for my patreons.
