I worked on the last 2 episodes of Game of Thrones. On “The Bell”, I created multiple buildings crumbling, cracking, and exploding, using Razor and Thinking Particles combined for fast results and good looking destructions involving Kings Landing. Also multiple dust simulations using Flowline.

On the last episode of the season, my main task was the two shots with the dragon involving Snow interaction. I bring to ScanlineVFX STORM, the tool we sell in Effectivetds, and I have been betatesting since the beginning. With it we were able together with Sebastian Schafer to bring a high quality simulation and iterate very fast to adapt the fast peace of a tv show, still keeping a high movie quality standards. Finally I combined the storm simulation with Thinking Particles, fumefx and magmaflow for custom postcache refinement, and the end result is this one:
